Which Android tablet will you buy this holiday season?
Google’s Pixel is still on the market.
But Google has finally launched a slate, with an impressive battery and specs to boot.
The Pixel S, the new Pixel, is available now in select markets and is expected to ship this holiday.
Google’s Pixel has the same high-end specs as its more expensive sibling.
It has an 8-inch 1080p screen with 1080p resolution and 4K resolution, a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, 32GB of storage and a 5-inch, 1080p display.
It also comes with an 18-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus.
The front-facing camera is 16MP, with optical zoom and a f/2.2 aperture, and there are dual LED flash, an infrared blaster, a fingerprint reader, a mic and stereo speakers.
The Pixel S will retail for $1,099, or $449 for 32GB, which is more expensive than the Pixel XL, which costs $599.
There are no discounts for Best Buy buyers.
The Pixel 2 XL is available in a range of price ranges.
Google has already confirmed that it will be available in the $1.3 to $1 and $1 to $2.5 ranges, though this could change.
We can expect the Pixel 2 to be a big seller at Best Buy and other stores this holiday, and we may see the company release a cheaper model in the coming months.
